The Lancaster is an affordable yet comfortable alternative to city centre hotels. Located in Lancaster street, the apartment is just two minutes’ walk to Las Ramblas and Palau Guell, and five minutes to Plaza de Catalunya. La Boqueria, Parc de Montjuic and Barrio Gotico are a short stroll away as well. Don’t be put off by the unremarkable apartment building and the seemingly intimidating sidestreet where The Lancaster stands, because inside it’s a gem. The place is clean and well maintained, with polished wooden floors and air conditioning. There are three rooms which can accommodate a total of six people. You can relax at the living room sofa while enjoying entertainment via the TV, DVD player and hi-fi sound system, and cook your own meals at the fully equipped kitchen. There are two bathrooms for sharing. Check-in is done at the Hotel Ramblas next door.
